Does Costco still have a photo center?
No. Costco closed its in-store photo centers in February 2021 and its photo website, costcophotocenter.com, in January 2023. For prints, cards and photo books, Costco now sends members to Shutterfly, where members get 51% off regular-priced orders and free shipping on orders of $30 or more.

How the Costco Shutterfly discount works
- Add your membership number to a new or existing Shutterfly account, from the link on Costco's photo page. After that the discount is added in your cart; there's no code.
- 51% off regular-priced orders on shutterfly.com and the Shutterfly app, and free economy shipping on U.S. orders of $30 or more.
- You must be a current Costco member when you check out; Shutterfly's terms don't limit it to one membership level.
- Not included: items already on sale, 4x4 and 4x6 prints ordered in the app, annual or prepaid plans, video plans, gift cards, designer review, orders for in-store pickup, and past orders. It doesn't stack with other percent-off or dollar-off codes, so compare it with Shutterfly's own sale before you check out.
- Storage: Costco's page says Shutterfly customers get unlimited photo storage.
Common questions
Does Costco do passport photos?
No. Passport photos ended when the in-store photo centers closed in 2021, and Costco's photo page doesn't list them now.
Are Costco photo center hours still listed?
There's nothing to list: no Costco warehouse has a photo center. Shutterfly orders are online, any time.
How do I download my photos from the Costco photo center?
You can't any more. The deadline to download photos from the old Costco site was January 31, 2024. If you moved your photos to Shutterfly in 2023, they're in your Shutterfly account.
Can I get Christmas cards through Costco?
Through Shutterfly. Costco's photo page promotes holiday cards and personalized gifts at the member discount, on regular-priced items.
Can I use it without a Costco membership?
Anyone can order from Shutterfly, but the 51% discount needs a current Costco membership at checkout.
Do Shutterfly orders earn the Executive 2% reward?
