Costco pharmacy hours, and do you need a membership?
Costco pharmacies open at 9 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. on weekdays, depending on the warehouse. On Saturday they close an hour or so earlier, and most are closed on Sunday.

Every pharmacy we checked opened at 9 a.m., an hour before the warehouse. 7 of the 13 kept the shorter hours and 6 stayed open until 8:30 p.m. on weekdays. 12 of 13 were closed on Sunday. The lunch break
Costco's warehouse pages say that when only one pharmacist is on duty, the pharmacy may close for 30 minutes between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. If you're picking up in the early afternoon, call ahead or go before 1:30.
Is the Costco pharmacy open on Sunday?
Usually not. 12 of the 13 pharmacies we checked were closed on Sunday, even though the warehouse is open. If you need a prescription on a Sunday, check your warehouse's page before you go.
Holidays

Do you need a Costco membership to use the pharmacy?
Not always. Costco's pharmacy FAQ has said its pharmacies are open to non-members where state law requires it, as quoted by Truth or Fiction. Costco doesn't publish a list of those states, so if you aren't a member, call the pharmacy first and ask.
Members also get Costco's prescription discount program at no extra charge. Costco says it's not insurance, and you choose either the discount program or your insurance for a prescription, not both.
Does the Costco pharmacy take insurance?
Yes. Costco pharmacies fill prescriptions through insurance, and Costco's FAQ treats insurance and its own discount program as the two choices for paying.
