Costco Tire Center: hours, what's included, and the road hazard warranty

When you buy tires at Costco, installation is included at no charge, along with lifetime rotation, balancing, inflation checks, flat repairs, nitrogen inflation and a 5-year road hazard warranty. Tire Centers keep the same hours as the warehouse, and they only work on tires bought from Costco by members.

From Costco's tire site, its Tire Center FAQs and warehouse pages, checked October 18, 2026.

Costco Tire Center hours and appointments

Costco says Tire Center hours are the same as the warehouse hours for Executive, Gold Star and Business members; see Costco hours. Appointments are recommended: book at CostcoTireAppointments.com (a separate login). Walk-ins are welcome when a bay is free. The self-serve air station keeps the gas station's hours.

It doesn't replace the tire maker's own warranty, which still applies.

Installation rules worth knowing

Buying tires online

Costco.com tire orders arrive at the Tire Center you pick in about 5-10 business days (longer in Alaska and Hawaii). Costco contacts you when they arrive, and you have 14 days to get them installed. Orders can't be cancelled once shipped and can't be exchanged; for a refund, decline them at the Tire Center when they arrive.

Common questions

Is tire installation free at Costco?

Yes. Costco's tire site says the tire purchase includes installation at no charge, along with rotation, balancing, flat repairs and nitrogen for the life of the tires.

Do I need a membership for the Costco Tire Center?

Yes. Costco says installation is only for tires bought from Costco by members, and it won't perform services on tires bought by non-members.

Will Costco install tires I bought somewhere else?

No. Costco only installs Costco-purchased tires.

Do Costco tires earn the Executive 2%?

The tires do. Costco's list of purchases that don't earn the reward includes tire balance and installation fees and tire disposal fees, but not the tires themselves. See the 2% reward, explained.

Can I put air in my tires at Costco?

Yes. Costco has a self-serve inflation station, open the same hours as its gas station.

Does Costco run tire deals?

Yes, from time to time. When we checked, the tire site had $80 off a set of four Michelin tires for about four weeks. Check Costco's tire site for the current offer; if a deal starts soon after you buy, see price adjustment.

In Canada

Costco Canada's tire site lists the same package: installation at no charge, a 5-year road hazard warranty on the same 60-month and 1.6 mm terms, rotation and balancing, flat repairs and nitrogen, for tires bought by members. Executive members earn the 2% on tires. Canadian Tire Centre hours also match the warehouse; see Costco hours in Canada and tires.costco.ca.
